Alexander N. Shokhin was born in 1951 in the Arkhangelsk Region. He graduated from the Economy Faculty of the Moscow State University in 1974.

From 1974 to 1987 he worked with several research institutions associated with the USSR Academy of Sciences, the USSR State Planning Committee and the USSR State Labor Committee.

In 1991-1994 and in 1998, he was the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. In 1991-1994 he also held positions of the Minister of Labor, Minister of Economics, Chairman of the Russian Agency for International Cooperation and Development, and Russian governor at the IMF and the World Bank. On behalf of the Russian government he represented Russia in the international negotiations on Soviet-era debt. Additionally, he represented the President of the Russian Federation in Russia's relations with the G7 countries.

In 1994 - 2002 Mr. Shokhin was elected as a Deputy of the State Duma, where he was the First Vice Chairman of the Parliament, leader of the parliamentary fraction 'Our Home is Russia', Head of the Duma Committee on Credit Institutions and Capital Markets.

From 2002 to 2005 Mr. Shokhin was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Investment Group "Renaissance Capital".

Since 2005 г. – President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

Mr. Shokhin is a member of several advisory boards under the Russian President and Government and acts as an independent director at the directors boards of the major Russian companies (including Lukoil and Russian Railways).

Mr. Shokhin is Doctor of Economics, Professor.

Igor A. Vdovin – is the Head of the Management Board of the National Direct Investment Agency and member of the Management Board of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP).

He graduated from law school and received Doctor of law from the Saint-Petersburg University in 2002.

Mr. Vdovin is a co-head of the Investment Policy and Public-Private Partnership Committee of RSPP, Deputy Head of Public Council under the Ministry of regional development of the Russian Federation.

He is an active member of the Investment Policy and Public-Private Partnership working group established by the Board of “United Russia” party.

Mr. Vdovin is a member of several advisory boards under the Russian President and Government and acts as an independent director at the directors boards of the major Russian companies (including OJSC “TAIF”).

He has more than 20 years of experience in strategy development, investment advisory and financial project management.

Mr. Vdovin is Doctor of Law, Professor of the State University - High School of Economics.

Sergey A. Borovskiy was born in 1972 in Saint-Petersburg.

He studied at the Saint-Petersburg University, Beijing Normal University and Russian Humanitarian Academy (diploma in economics).

Since 1991 he has been living and working in China.

Sergey is the Chairman of Golden Dragon Investment and has over 20 years of experience of business management in China and Hong Kong.

He is also the Chief Representative of Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in China and South East Asia.

Fluent in Russian, English and Mandarin.

Andrey Chicherin

Andrey Chicherin leads Corporate Finance advisory of NP Capital and joined the team in 2010.

He began his career with the Moscow office of American law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, as M&A and capital markets attorney for major Russian and international companies.

Later he headed Structuring Division at Bank ZENIT, worked at the Corporate Finance team of Deloitte & Touche and managed financing projects as Vice-President of Investment Bank TRUST and Executive Director of Gazprombank.

Andrey graduated with Honors from the Law Faculty of the Lomonossov Moscow State University, received his MBA degree from Columbia Business School in New York and studied Asian economy and capital markets at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.

Evgenia Zadorozhnuk

Еvgenia Zadorozhnuk joined the team in 2010

She began her career with the Ministry for economic development (Federal Agency for Special Economic Zones) and the Ministry of Regional Development where she played key roles in preparation of the projects for the Russian Investment Fund.

Later she joined Federal State Enterprise “Roads of Russia” where she was responsible for legal due diligence of first concession projects in Russia and funding (both state and private) for these projects as deputy head of Public-Private Partnership development division.

Evgenia Zadorozhnuk graduated with Honors from the Law Faculty of the State University – Higher School of Economics.

Kirill Pak

Project Director

Kirill Pak joined the team in 2010.

He began his career with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, where he was responsible for the design of federal investment programs for regional economic development in Siberia and for the analysis and preparation of Russian Investment Fund projects.

Later he headed the Public-Private Partnership development divisions at the Ministry of Regional Development and Federal State Enterprise “Roads of Russia”, where he was in charge of the project financial structuring and obtaining state financing for first concession projects in Russia
